Weave Films has collaborated with production company Small World Stories to help them to produce their ABC series Aussie Dispatch.

The series focuses on Australians who have assisted in the global response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Weave Films spent this morning at the Menzies School of Health Research filming with Dr Josh Francis.

Dr Francis has been working with in Timor-Leste for the past seven years, but when the coronavirus began to spread around the world, he and the team of Australian and Timorese medical specialists developed testing in the capital and are now working to increase testing in remote areas.

It was a pleasure working with Small World, Menzies and Dr Francis to tell this inspirational story of a group of people collaborating across international borders.
