Just want to shout out a massive thank-you to all who auditioned for our comedy web series News Junkies.

It has been a huge process going through all the applications, reviewing everyone's submissions and then shortlisting those to audition for the roles.

We've been on the hunt for six characters for the series. 

We've been overwhelmed by the amazing talent who auditioned. We had interest from around the country and it was great to see such a high standard, with the talent on offer here in the Top End holding its own.

Today was massive ... after only arriving back from Central Australia on Saturday, there has been no chance to rest on our laurels - but the excitement of meeting everyone face to face and working with them delivered energy in spades.

It's now off to review the materials again and then conference with my co-creators Kristy O'Brien and Lucy McNally to decide our final six cast.
